    Intervention in improving students' performance in fraction

    Abstract
    This study was conducted at Tapaz National High School during the school year 2022-2023. Generally, this study aimed to improve the performance of Grade 8 students’ in Adding and Subtracting Fractions with the use of Instructional Videos.

    The respondents of this study were the 30 students of section Aquarius and 30 students of section Scorpion of Tapaz National High School and they were identified using their average grades during 1st Quarter of the school year 2022-2023. Mean was used in analyzing and interpreting the data. The significant difference between the posttest and pretest was determined through the t-test. The findings of the study are the following: Before intervention, the level of performance was poor performance, respectively. After the intervention and remediation results revealed that there was an improvement and significant difference in the mean performance of students in solving adding and subtracting fractions from poor to very satisfactory.
