dc.description.abstract | This study was designed and developed at Capiz State University Mambusao Satellite College from November 2022 to May 2023. The main objective of this study was to develop a computer-based recording and monitoring system of Barangay Health Workers’ (BHWs). Specifically, this study aimed to create computer-based system for recording and monitoring of individuals and families of the barangay that could serve as information compiler and source of report of the Barangay Health Workers’ (BHWs); design a recording and monitoring system that can add, save, search, delete, update, print, evaluate and retrieve records; develop an application that could provide ensure security records of BHWs; and determine and evaluate the potential of the system in terms of functionality, maintainability, efficiency, compatibility, reliability, usability, security, and portability of the software. The researchers used XAMPP and Visual Studio Code editor in designing and coding the system. They also used MySQL for the database of the system. Waterfall Life Cycle Model was used in developing the system. The ISO standard 25010 questionnaire was used to gather data from the respondents and evaluate the acceptability of the system. Respondents of the study were the barangay health workers of Mambusao and IT faculty of Capiz State University Mambusao Satellite College. The result of the evaluation shows that Barangay Health Workers’ Recording and Monitoring System was “Highly Acceptable” in terms of functional suitability, maintainability, performance efficiency, compatibility, reliability, usability, security and portability with the grand mean of 4.5. | en |
