dc.description.abstract | The descriptive method of research was used in the study. The survey method using purposive sampling was utilized. The respondents of the study were the 344 senior high school students in five (5) National High School in the 2nd District of Capiz. The instrument used in this study was a researchers made instrument to determine the level of awareness of senior high school students towards BS Tourism Course. The statistical tools used were the frequency, percentage, mean, t-test and ANOVA. Findings of the study revealed that the majority of the respondents are females. In terms of family income majority of the respondents' family income was 2,500-5,000. Furthermore, majority of the respondents' parents' educational attainment were high school graduate. Results revealed that male respondents are more aware of BS Tourism course than females. In terms of family income, more aware are those who have an income of 10,000 up. Another result revealed that elementary graduate mothers and college graduate fathers are more aware of BS Tourism Course. Another findings of the study was there is no significant difference between the Level of Awareness of the respondents towards BS Tourism Course. Result further revealed that elementary graduate mothers and college graduates fathers were more aware of the BS Tourism Course. The findings of the study showed that there is no significant difference between the level of awareness of the respondent towards BS Tourism Course when grouped according to sex, family income and educational attainment of parents. | en |
