dc.description.abstract | This descriptive research study aimed to find out the level of job satisfaction of tourism and hospitality service providers in the Province of Capiz. The respondents of the study were the 100 tourism and hospitality service providers in Capiz, chosen using the purposive sampling. They were categorized as to age, sex and course. It made used of a researchers-made questionnaire to gather the needed data. Mean, Standard deviation, T-test for independent samples and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Post Hoc Test were used to determine the present employment job satisfaction of tourism and hospitality service providers. All Inferential statistics are set to 0.05 level of significance. Findings reveal that majority or 57% of the respondents were females, aging 20 to 29 years old or in the early adulthood (59%) and has graduated in a Non Tourism related course (56%). Generally, the respondents are "satisfied" on their job. Moreover, when the respondents were classified according to salary, fringe benefits, position, work and environment, results show that they are "satisfied" on their job. No significant difference in the level of job satisfaction of tourism and hospitality service providers when classified to sex. However, significant differences were found when they were classed as to age in favor of the members aging 20 to 29 or those who belong in the early adulthood. Also, course made a difference in in the respondents' level of job satisfaction in favor to the tourism graduated courses. | en |
