dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted among 163 high school students in the three secondary high school of Mambusao during the second semester of school year 2018-2019 to find out the high school students’ level of perception on Inilusan Festival participation. Specifically, it aimed to establish the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, family income, grade level, and place of residence; determine the level of perception on Inilusan festival participation of the respondents as an entire group and when grouped according to selected variables; to find out if significant; differences exist in the respondents’ level of pereception when grouped according to selected variables; and to ascertain their reasons for participating in the Inilusan Festival. A questionnaire was used to gather data which were analyzed using frequency count, percentages, mean, standard deviation, T-test and F-test. Results revealed that majority of the respondents were females; had a monthly family income within the mean and above; more number was in grade 10; and who were from the barrio. As a whole, and when grouped according to sex, monthly family income, glade level, and place of residence, majority of the respondents had high level of perception on the students’ participation in the Inilusan Festival. No significant differences exist in the respondents’ level of perception on the students participation in Inilusan Festival as a whole or when grouped according to selected variables. Majority of the respondents’ for participating in the Inilusan Festival were to be physically fit, to promote place/ theme/ activity, to socialize other people, and to entertain among others.en
