This study had the following objectives; 1.) To determine the growth of peanut varieties (Arachis hypogaea L.) in terms of; a.) Plant height at 15 and 30 days after sowing (DAS). b.) Number of days from sowing 80% flowering, c.) Number of leaves per sample plant at 15 and 30 DAS, d.) Number of days from sowing to harvesting, 2.) To evaluate the yield of different peanut varieties (Arachis hypogaea L.) in terms of; a.) Weight of shelled and unshelled seed pods (kg) per ten sample plant per plot, b.). Total yield (kg) per treatment/plot, 3.)To gather the climatic condition of Pilar, Capiz during the conduct of the study in terms of: a.) Temperature, b) Relative Humidity. The result of the experiment revealed that there was high significant effect on the growth of different varieties of peanut in terms of the plant height at 15 days after sowing (DAS). Treatment C and D had the higher plant height compared to treatment A and B. The varieties, Valencia and Spanish obtained the highest significant results in terms in terms of growth and yield. The result also showed that there was a significant differences between treatments on the number of leaves at 15 days after sowing (DAS), weight of unshelled, total yield and climatic condition of Pilar revealed it was favorable for the production of peanut.en
