| dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted in Capiz State University Burias Campus during the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. The study was involved 56 graduates who took the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and were randomly selected from the population of 91 official graduates. This study was purely descriptive research. Data were analyzed through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It utilized the descriptive and inferential statistics such as frequency counts, percentages, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The findings revealed that a majority of the respondents were 2022 graduates, were in 2020, most were females, and more were BPED graduates. The LET performance of the respondents as a whole was perceived as “Did Not Meet Expectation”. Further analysis based on the profile variable such as sex, course major graduated and year graduated also revealed consistent performance levels of “Did Not Meet Expectations” across all groups. Despite this, the study found that the respondents demonstrated a high rate of employment overall status. Employment status remained favourable when grouped according to course program and year graduated. These findings emphasize the need for improvements in LET preparations while highlighting the positive employment outcomes of graduates, regardless of their LET performance. | en |
