| dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted at Capiz State University Burias Campus during the first semester of academic year 2023 - 2024 to describe the lived experiences of BSED major in English graduates in the Licensure Examination for Teachers. The respondents of this study were the five BSED English Major Licensure Examination for Teachers passers of the College of Education of CAPSU Burias Campus. The research instrument used in gathering data from the respondents was a set of open-ended interview questions which was presented to a panel of experts for comments and suggestions. Results revealed that in terms of the challenges encountered by the BSED Major in English graduates in taking the LET, the themes which emerged are lack of resources, in congruency, psychological challenge, lack of time to review for the licensure examination, and financial constraints. As to the coping strategies they employed in order to address the challenges they encountered, themes such as resourcefulness, fostering discipline, and upholding positivity and optimism emerged in the investigation. Furthermore, in terms of insights they have learned, themes such as divine intervention, self-awareness, self-driven, self-trust, and chance taking emerged.
