Best practices in keeping high morale among BSBA students during the pandemic
Abstract
This study was conducted at Capiz State University, Pilar Satellite College, Natividad Pilar Capiz, and was limited only to currently enrolled students at the College of BSBA HR Major in their practicum course. More specifically, it sought to find out the ; 1.) The socio-demographic profile of the respondents; 2.) the different practices for keeping high morale among BSBA students during the pandemic.
30 BSBA HR major participants serves as the respondents and were asked to discuss their perspectives regarding the best practices for maintaining high morale among BSBA students during the pandemic. The data were obtained using a questionnaire. Frequency count, percentage, and mean were used as statistical tools to analyze the gathered data.
The results revealed that the majority of the respondents, were 22 years old. Respondents strongly agreed with the following practices in maintaining high morale among BSBA students: schools requiring teachers to guide student in conversations, answer questions and establish a schedule for checking in; students and their parents focusing on their own time, especially when student`s online classes are ongoing; parents guiding students academically by providing knowledge when student are curious or interested in something; and students knowing how to manage their time within their respective homes in order to divide their attention between schoolwork and household chores.
