    Abstract
This qualitative-transcendental-phenomenological research aimed to describe the experiences of the of the grade 2 pupils' parents on their parental involvement and homeschooling of their children during pandemic. The study involved the ten (10) parents of the grade 2 pupils at School A in the district of Pontevedra, Capiz who are enrolled in SY 2022-2023. It utilized the validated unstructured interview guide to gather the needed data through one-on-one interview. Data analysis were done using the steps of phenomenology which was patterned from Moustakas's (1994) method of analysis. Results of the study revealed that the participants supported the homeschooling of their children through reading modules to their children; assisting their children in writing their answers; guiding their children in answering the modules; checking the modules; and watching educational videos. The challenges encountered by the participants in the modular distance learning are the excessive use of gadgets and the annoying behavior of their children. Participants balanced their time personally and professionally through focusing and giving time to their children; and inspiring them to learn.
