Challenges encountered by student parents of CAPSU Pilar on the new normal mode of learning

Abstract

Generally, this study focused on the lives of student parent currently enrolled at CapSU-Pilar as they lived. This study entitled "Challenges Encountered by Student Parents of CapSU Pilar on the New Mode of Learning" was conducted on October 2023 with the following problem : 1.) To determine the year level, sex, no. of children, and family income of the respondents. 2.) To fine out the significant difference on the challenges faced by the student parent when taken as a whole; 3.) To find out the significant difference on the challenges faced by the Student Parent when taken as a whole and classified according to sex, year level, number of children and family income? Since there were only few students as parent`s respondents in the locality, therefore the complete enumeration technique was used in selecting the respondents. The data were collected with the used of questionnaires consist some questions pertaining to the problems encountered by student`s parents and the appropriate solutions for its solutions for each problem. Data revealed that most of the respondents were females with four (4) children and above, a monthly income of Php1000-2000. Respondents agreed on the time management, financially, emotionally and difficulty in handling their children as the challenges they encountered during pandemic.
