Level of motivation of Grade 12 students
Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the level of motivation of grade 12 students during the second semester of School Year 2018-2019. The respondents of the study were a sample of 159 Grade 12 senior high school students in three secondary schools in Mambusao. A questionnaire compose of three parts was used to collect data which were analyzed using frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and ANOVA. Results showed that majority of the respondents were females more of them were enrolled in HUMSS; and most of them were studying in public school. Results further revealed that respondents had high level of motivation. Moreover, findings revealed that there was a significant difference in the level of motivation of the respondents when grouped according to sex and academic track. However, there was no significant difference in their level of motivation when grouped according to type of school.
