    Abstract
    This study aimed to determine the level of independent learning strategies of selected college students of Capiz State University -Pilar Satellite College, Academic Year 2023-2024. A validated and reliable tested questionnaire used on the level of independent learning strategies was adapted from Assadollahi & Taghizadeh (2017), Chen & Lin (2018) and Costa & Kallick (2023). The statistical tools, including frequency count and percentage, mean, and standard deviation, were used to analyze the data. The findings reveal that most of the respondents are young with ages ranging 21-22 years old, and third year college students. The level of independent learning strategy in terms of self-paced learning, self-managed and self-evaluated learning were very highly, and in terms of self-regulated learning and self-monitored learning were highly.
