    Abstract
    “Clams” or shellfish play an important role in marine ecosystems, such as filtering water and providing food for other organisms. They survive in saline or salty water. Cagaycay is rich in iron, zinc, magnesium, vitamin D and vitamin B12. Cagaycay can be found in many beaches here in the Philippines especially in Capiz. This study was conducted to evaluate the potential success of putting up Cagaycay business in West, Baybay of Sitio Guise, Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz. The primary goal of this study is to determine the feasibility, profitability and other distribution channel for Cagaycay business. This project uses a descriptive type of research method through interview. Based on the results gathered most respondents age range between 38-45, male, married and most of them reached elementary level. 100% of existing Cagaycay businesses are located in West, Baybay of Sitio Guise, Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz. A possibility to gain high feasibility of 50% with 15 responses and high profitability of 80% with 24 responses among 30 respondents. Based on the study, the selling price is not based on market price. The business has 5 days of operation in a week, 20 days in a month, and 240 days in a year. Based on the results of the analysis of the financial statement, within the first year, almost 100% return on investment was achieved. Regarding the payback period, the results revealed that the business has improved and began making a profit within 6 to 7 months, which is less than a year.
