    Abstract
    The main purpose of the study was to determine the social popularity and academic performance BEED Student in CapSU Pilar Satellite College. More particularly it was conducted with the following objectives: 1. To find out the level of social popularity of the respondents; 2. To find out the level of academic performance of the respondents; and 3. To determine if there is significant relationship between social popularity and academic performance. The questionnaire was the survey instrument used which was composed of two parts. Part one dealt with academic performance of the respondents. Part two focused on the level of social popularity of BEED students. The respondents of the study were the 132 students selected from BEED courses who were chosen using random sampling technique. Frequency count, percentage, mean, and standard deviation computed through the use of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results of the study revealed that the students are very socially popular and with good academic performance. Furthermore, there is no significant correlations of academic performance and social popularity.
