    Abstract
This entitled Problems Encountered by Working Students in the Department of Social Work at CapSU Pilar Satellite Campus during Virtual Learning was conducted from February to April 2023 to investigate the challenges faced by these students. The research focused on two main objectives: determining the socio-demographic profile of the respondents and identifying the problems encountered during virtual learning. A total of 37 working students participated, with data collected via a two-part questionnaire. Part I gathered socio-demographic information, while Part II assessed the problems encountered using a perception scale from Strongly Agree (5) to Strongly Disagree (1). Results showed that the majority of the respondents were females aged 21-24, predominantly in the 3A category. Academic challenges were prevalent, difficulties in attention, keeping up in lessons, and multitasking. Time management was a significant issue, with students struggling to balance activities, study time, and setting time limits effectively. Financial constraints were also highlighted, with many students facing insufficient income and challenging family financial situations. Interestingly, despite these academic and financial pressures, most respondents did not report significant problems with family support during virtual learning, indicating strong and resilient family relationships. The study emphasizes the need for targeted interventions to support the academic, time management, and financial needs of working students, while also leveraging family support to enhance their academic success and well-being.
