Implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S. 2004, The Traffic Rules and Regulation of the Municipality of Ma-ayon, Capiz
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S, 2004, the Traffic Rules and Regulations of the Municipality of Maayon, Capiz. The study aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile of the respondents, identify the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S, 2004 by the Maayon, Capiz Police Personnel and their degree of implementation, and analyze if there were significant differences in the implementation based on the type of respondents. Data was collected from thirty-five Police Personnel in Maayon, Capiz using a survey questionnaire. A descriptive research design was employed for the study. The results revealed that the majority of respondents were male, married, college graduates, and aged between thirty-six to forty years old. The respondents perceived that the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S, 2004 by Maayon, Capiz Police Personnel was "fully implemented," with a grand mean score of 4.83 for the 18 statements assessing the extent of implementation. Additionally, the study found a significant difference in the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S, 2004 based on the type of respondents. In summary, the findings suggest that the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No.1, S, 2004 in Maayon, Capiz, carried out by the Municipality of Maayon and the Maayon Police, was effectively executed, as perceived by the respondents.
