Experiences and opportunities of online learning among HRM/HM students amidst the Covid-19 pandemic
Abstract
The study was conducted at Capiz State University, Sigma Satellite College in the school year 2021-2022, among 309 BSHM students. The study aimed to determine the level of experiences and opportunities of online learning among HRM/HM students amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. Specifically, it sought to determine the socio-demographic profile of the of the respondents in terms of age, sex, location, and internet connectivity and the experiences and opportunities of online learning among HRM students amidst COVID 19 pandemic. Furthermore, it sought to ascertain the significant differences in the level of experiences and opportunities among HRM students amidst the COVID 19 pandemic in terms of their socio-demographic profile. The study used descriptive-quantitative methods. The gathered data were presented in textual, tabular, and nominal form with the use of statistical treatments such as, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s Correlation, and ANOVA. The researchers found out that there were significance differences between socio-demographic profile of the respondents such as age, sex, location and internet connectivity and the level of experiences and opportunities among HRM students amidst COVID 19 pandemic and the significant difference between online learning experiences and opportunities among HRM students amidst COVID 19 pandemic.
