Security measures of Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School
Abstract
Generally this study was conducted to determine the different security measures adopted by Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School as the basis for formulating plans and programs to strengthen security. Specifically, this study sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the socio-demographic profile of the respondents?, 2. What are the security measures of Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr National High School?, and 3. Is there a significant difference between the security measures of Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School in terms of location of the foresaid schools? Survey questionnaire was used to gather significant data. Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School were the locale of the study. Data were tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistical tools such as frequency count, mean and percentage, and correlational statistical tool such as t-test. Result indicated that most of the respondents were aging 21-30 years old; females; single; with master’s unit; and earning an income ranging 10,001-20,000. It was found out that there was a significant difference between the security measures of Pontevedra National High School and Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School.
